Precision TX (Sidelaze) Laser

Now there is an innovative, minimally invasive way to enhance your look without a surgical facelift! Palo Alto Dermatology Institute offers Precision Tx – a laser treatment that enables minimally invasive smaller area contouring – such as neck, jowls and jawline to give you dramatic outcomes with little downtime.  This technique, previously called Sidelaze, is a side-firing laser fiber allowing directionally targeting to the deep tissue of the neck as well as the underside of the skin.  Combined with tumescent or local anesthesia liposuction, the combination treatment provides an enhanced liposuction result of the neck by combining heat for skin contraction and fat removal. This one-time laser procedure is performed under local anesthesia in the office with cutting edge laser technology that delivers the laser energy precisely to the target tissue. The entire procedure takes less than an hour and it gives you outcomes that continues to improve over time.

Precision Tx, previously known as Sidelaze, is cutting edge laser technology that enables a new minimally invasive laser procedure for small area contouring – such as jowls, jaw line and neck. Precision Tx™ treatment can give you a more defined look without a surgical face-lift.

The treatment area is numbed and tiny incisions are made to fit a very small cannula with a laser fiber, about the size of the tip of a pen, underneath your skin. Then, thermally controlled laser energy is delivered to the treatment area to break down fat tissue and stimulate collagen production in the dermis.

As the area is numbed with local anesthesia, there is minimal discomfort during the procedure. Like any other minimally invasive procedure, you may feel a light pressure during the treatment and some soreness afterwards. Patients should be able to return to normal activities in a few days, depending on each patient’s unique situation and treatment plan.

The treatment takes about one hour and it is performed in your doctor’s office.

Precision Tx is a one-time treatment.

Precision Tx is a very precise and individualized laser treatment, and the price varies depending on the treatment area. A physician must see the prospective patient first to provide an accurate quote after the consultation.
